Chateau De Pray - Amboise

L'ambiente molto gradevole ,il parco ampio e ben tenuto .La stanza riservatami era posta nella torre era molto ampia ben arredata con mobili antichi ,pulita ed accogliente con bella vista sul parco .

Il servizio specialmente del ristorante è carente ,il restauro lascia a desiderare ,per esempio per entrare nella mia stanza dovevo passare dalla toilette del ristorante

Struttura charmant e comoda ai castelli, camera e bagno moooolto spaziosi, parcheggio auto senza problemi.

Location was great, very central, and staff were very helpful. Had we had more time and not been there during a heat wave, I expect we would've enjoyed our stay even more! Breakfast while pricey was one of the best we've had in France.

We were put on 2ieme floor during a heat wave with only one tiny fan to cool the room - better than nothing, but an extra fan or even an apology might've made the experience a bit better.

We had a not large but very cosy beautifully decorated room with a view into the yard. The bathroom was unexpectedly large and comfortable. Thr chateau is situated in the very good location, not far from Amboise and other main places of interest. On the other hand the atmosphere around is very tranquil and relaxing. The restaurant has to be mentioned. The cuisine is really tasty and refined.

The main discomfort is the absence of a lift

Great location, everything expected from a Chateau but a little pretencious. The menu was overpriced.

This was a truly wonderful experience. The food was amazing. Wine was reasonably priced with great selection. Staff couldnt have bn more helpful. Gardens were gorgeous. Pool perfect.

The staff was very attentive, and the property is lovely. The restaurant is extremely good.

The beds were not terribly comfortable.

We were looking to stay in a "castle" and this fit the bill. The adults in our group stayed in the main house while the families with children stayed in the Pavillion Renaissance rooms across the main chateau. The Pavillion rooms were huge -- "two" stories (enough space to sleep two more on "second" floor in addition to two on the main floor); fully renovated and very modern bathrooms. The chateau is very charming (kids found it creepy but in a fun way). There's even a small forest behind the chateau you can wander in. The only downside was that we arrived on the day the dining room was closed. We would've loved to try a superb meal there (at least that's what it read like on the menu).

Best visited in summer to take advantage of grounds. Very convent to town. Great staff.

No indoor lounge to sit with friends. Food and service for dinner was very good but very expensive.

Loved the Chateau itself, it is a very beautiful building and surrounds, one of the highlights of our trip. A very special place. Also the breakfast is served in a very special room that has been carved into the cliff face, good selection for breakfast. Only wish we could of spent longer there. Highly recommend.

This is a small, well-run hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very comfortable. The food and wine were excellent and the whole place exuded a tranquil atmosphere which was calming and restful. Its location is also perfect for visiting the Loire valley. Altogether a lovely experience.
